Hello Candlewood Family,
I am excited to introduce the newest addition to our team – Dr. Laura Delfelder!
Dr. Delfelder is a Topeka native and a 2023 graduate of Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. You may recognize her, as she has spent the last 6 months shadowing at the clinic.
She is married to CJ, who is the Facility Manager at K-State's Large Animal Research Center, and they have two kiddos – a son, Calvin, and daughter, Elliot. Their fur family includes her senior dog, Callie Sue, her German Shorthair mix, Gracie Bell, and her super ornery cat, Kevin.
In her free time, she loves spending time outside – whether that is hiking, gardening, or playing with her kids.
Dr. D looks forward to building relationships with her new clients and patients and has a strong interest in surgery and preventative medicine. Her future goals include certification in veterinary chiropractics and acupuncture.
